The Governors of the Federation of St Joseph’s Catholic Junior, Infant & Nursery Schools wish to appoint a dynamic and highly committed leader to join our team as Deputy Headteacher. We seek an inspirational leader, who will play an integral part in developing and shaping our new strategic vision in order to raise standards even further.

We are a forward-thinking school and are looking for an innovative and outstanding practitioner, who can inspire and drive standards. You will need to be enthusiastic and committed to offering an inspirational learning experience for all pupils and an engaging curriculum to promote high standards and a love for learning. You will have the opportunity to have a noticeable impact on pupil attainment and achievement through your fresh ideas, motivational skills and keen focus on improvement. You will be required to teach groups or classes as required and lead on Assessment as well as support CPD and staff appraisal.

We are fortunate to have extensive school grounds and a thriving Forest School, which provide pupils in all key stages with opportunities for outdoor and creative learning. We welcome imaginative, creative and strategic thinkers who have excellent subject knowledge. The well-being of our children is our motivation. • Have high expectations of all children and be able to inspire and motivate pupils to reach the highest standards of achievement
• Be passionate about making a difference and have a belief that education has the power to transform lives
• Be able to lead and work collaboratively as a member of a team, supporting and challenging as appropriate
• Have experience of liaising with a range of professionals
• Work closely with parents and other stakeholders
• Have a positive and ‘can do’ attitude and a desire to be involved in all aspects of school life
