The children, governors, staff and parents are looking for a new Headteacher who will inspire, educate and develop the children of St William’s Catholic Primary School in Christ’s image.

We are a one form entry school in the heart of West Bradford, serving the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes and St William. As a community, we use the values of the Gospels to provide a loving, caring and safe environment for all children to learn and reach their full potential.

We are looking for:-
• A practising Catholic, who has the vision to lead our school and with a clear commitment to maximising the progress of every child.
• Someone with exceptional leadership skills who can demonstrate and communicate courage and motivation to ensure that St William’s continues to develop and improve year on year.
• Commitment to high standards of teaching with continuous development for all pupils and staff.
• Achievement and progress for the children despite the, sometimes, challenging circumstances.
• A leader who will establish a culture that promotes excellence, equality and high expectations for all staff and children.

In return we can offer you:-
• A welcoming school with a strong Catholic ethos where well behaved pupils feel safe.
• Dedicated staff, supportive parents and a supportive and proactive Governing body.
• An inclusive community where all are valued, with strong links to the Parish and the Diocese of Leeds.
• Well established collaborations with local schools in West Bradford and within the Catholic Schools Partnership of Bradford and Keighley.
• An opportunity to make a difference to the lives of children in St William’s Catholic Primary School.

Section 48 inspection June 2018 stated “St William’s is a very welcoming and inclusive school which celebrates the rich diversity of its pupils”.

Visits to our school are actively encouraged, please contact Irene Fagan on 01274 545743 to book an appointment.
