The Governing Body of Good Shepherd Catholic Primary and Nursery School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated Deputy Headteacher. The successful candidate will work effectively with the Headteacher to lead this popular, aspirational and vibrant one-form entry Catholic school on the next stage of its journey.

We are seeking a candidate who:
• Is a practising Catholic who will contribute to the Catholic ethos of the school
• Can work in partnership with the Headteacher in moving the school forward
• Is highly motivated and able to demonstrate leadership skills and experience of successfully leading aspects of whole school improvement
• Has a clear knowledge and commitment to safeguarding practices
• Has strong management and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, lead, mentor and support colleagues
• Has excellent teaching skills and can model teaching skills within the school to further raise standards and directly impact on pupil outcomes
• Has the ability to work in partnership with pupils, parents, staff and governors, the parish and the wider community
