Due to the retirement of our current Head Teacher, the governing body of St John Fisher Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a practising Catholic to the position of Head Teacher. St John Fisher is a successful and popular one-form entry primary school set close to open countryside. A recent Ofsted Inspection stated that the school is “a vibrant and purposeful place to learn, underpinned by its strong, distinctive Catholic Ethos”.

We are seeking a Head Teacher who:
• is a practising Catholic with a clear understanding of Catholic education and the vision and ability to develop the Catholic Life of the school
• puts children at the heart of everything they do
• can build on the strengths of the school and develop our talented team of staff
• has the resilience to lead positively to ensure the continued success of the school
• is committed to collaborative working across the parish, the whole school community and across our local groups of schools
• has a proven track record at senior level in a primary school
