“I have come that they may have life and have it to the full” John 10:10

“This is an outstanding School which prepares pupils exceptionally well for the next stage of their education. Attainment is high and achievement and enjoyment are outstanding. These outstanding outcomes are due to the impact of excellent levels of care, guidance and support, high quality teaching and excellent leadership.” – Ofsted

Following the successful promotion of our current Headteacher to a larger federation of 2 schools we are now looking to appoint a highly motivated individual who will continue to lead our school to ensure that all our pupils reach their full potential.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic leader:
• Who is a practising Catholic who will cherish and support the Catholic ethos of the school
• Who will ensure that the school remains at the forefront of achievement
• Who will uphold, and further develop, the strong pastoral care given by the school and maintain partnerships with families, parish and the wider community
• With proven excellent leadership and management skills who has the ability to play a key role in implementing the curriculum and school values
• Who will recognise that each child is unique and has individual needs

In return, we can offer:
• Hard working and dedicated staff who are devoted to the success of the school
• Motivated Governors who provide challenge and support
• A school community which has a strong Catholic ethos where everyone is valued
• A welcoming, friendly school, with well behaved, positive and enthusiastic children who are keen to learn
• Supportive parents and an excellent parish community
• Excellent links with our Catholic Secondary School and other local Catholic and consortia of Primary Schools.
• A strong commitment to your continuing professional and leadership development for an experienced headteacher or those taking up their 1st headship

“On entry to school many children have a limited knowledge and understanding of the Catholic faith. The school builds increasingly well on these starting points so that by the end of year 6 attainment in Religious Education is outstanding and progress is outstanding in developing the religious literacy of pupils”- Archdiocese Report
