'At St. Joseph’s we live, love and learn by the example of Jesus.'

We strive to ensure that children are at the heart of our school, celebrating the fact that we aim to create a happy, purposeful and stimulating environment within which each child is valued as a unique individual made in God’s image who will be supported to achieve the highest possible standards of educational, personal and spiritual development.

OFSTED (April 2017): ‘Pupils love their school and are extremely proud of it. Pupils have excellent attitudes to learning. They are keen to do well and they work hard.’

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a much-loved, Catholic primary school; we wish to appoint a visionary Head Teacher to help it continue its journey from good to outstanding.

St. Joseph’s is a one form entry Catholic primary school. We are a community in which Christian values are firmly shared between school, church and parish. We are looking for a head teacher who can enable our children to express themselves within our rich learning environment, who understand that they are uniquely created by God and are loved and valued for who they are.

The Governors, staff and children of St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School are looking to appoint a Headteacher who is fully committed to the ethos of Catholic Education and has the ability to inspire, motivate and empower others. In our school we recognize that everyone is unique and has something to offer. If you are passionate about making a difference for every child, respect difference, value diversity and have the skills to build upon the strengths of our staff team, we would like you to lead our school to achieve further success.

We are looking for a Headteacher who:
• Is a practising Catholic who will cherish and support the strong Catholic ethos of our school
• Is a highly effective and successful leader with the ambition, vision and skills to support the highest expectations for all
• Is an outstanding teacher and believes in developing the potential of all of our children
• Can nurture, inspire, challenge and motivate pupils and staff alike
• Has strong interpersonal skills, is approachable and a good listener
• Has the clarity of thought and resilience to steer this inclusive school community on the next stage of its journey.

In return we are offering:
• Enthusiastic children who are keen to learn, motivated, work hard and respect one another
• A dedicated and talented staff team and a committed and supportive Governing Body
• A welcoming, well-resourced and stimulating learning environment
• Support for your own professional development, along with support from the Diocese of Westminster.
