Due to the retirement of our long-serving Deputy Headteacher, the Governing Board of St Godric’s RC Primary School are looking to appoint a highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic Deputy Headteacher who will continue to build upon the many achievements of this outstanding school.

We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who:
• is a practising Catholic, committed to the ethos and vision of Catholic Education
• has the vision, ambition and motivation to work with the Headteacher in leading our highly successful school into the next stage of development
• is committed to ongoing school improvement and takes an active lead within this process
• has high expectations of himself/herself, pupils and staff
• is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for children’s attainment and achievement
• is passionate in his/her belief that every child can and should achieve their full potential
• is a leader with enthusiasm to inspire staff and children
• has a commitment to professional development for all staff and governors
• will deputise for the Headteacher in her absence
