The governors of Holy Rood Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Assistant Headteacher to work in our school. We are looking for an outstanding primary teacher to lead and develop teaching and learning across the school. You will be given the opportunity to develop a range of leadership skills, working closely alongside the Headteacher.

The post holder will:
• Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
• Demonstrate a passion for teaching and be a practitioner that others can be inspired by
• Support the Headteacher with the vision and drive of raising standards across the school
• Have high expectations of pupils’ achievement across the school
• Lead, develop and enhance the teaching practice of the school’s staff
• Use initiative to support the teaching of whole classes, specific groups and individuals
• Be flexible, innovative, imaginative and creative
• Be well organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have experience of data management and analysis
• Work well as part of a team
