Due to the promotion of our current Deputy Headteacher, the Governing Body of St Bede’s are looking to appoint a highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic Deputy Headteacher who will continue to build upon the achievements of this successful school.

We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who:
• is a committed and practising Catholic with a good understanding of the distinctive nature of Catholic Education.
• has recent experience as an outstanding and enthusiastic Upper Key Stage 2 practitioner with a passion for highly effective teaching and learning.
• is creative, innovative and forward thinking, able to work collaboratively with the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and Governors.
• sets targets through the confident analysis of data, and plans rigorously from this to ensure that all children achieve their full potential.
• has experience of the role of SENCO, or a willingness to complete the qualification and take up the role.
• leads by example and has high expectations of attainment, progress and behaviour.
• forms positive relationships with all children, staff and parents – challenges, motivates and inspires.
• will help our children to thrive in a culture that builds resilience and a positive attitude to learning.
